In January we wrote about TBRs (Technology Business Reviews) and how they provide vital benefits to business. Almost half a year on and we’re delighted to announce that the first round of TBRs have proved highly successful and customer feedback has been wonderful. Take up was high and we’ll be providing these on a half-yearly basis.

TBRs represent the consultative aspect of Net Primates IT provision. We don’t just want to provide you with IT equipment – we want to make sure you have exactly what you need to function effectively now and in the future. You will be better able to make informed decisions and plan for different eventualities.

Being proactive with IT is always far more preferable to dealing with emergencies and consultancy is one way to ensure you are on top of IT. Emergencies are expensive, disruptive and risk reputational damage; planning, on the other hand, makes emergencies far less frequent, spreads costs, and allows you to maintain consistent customer service.

IT does not stand still

As we all know, IT is arguably one of the fastest moving industries in the world. Hardware and software are constantly updating and with this comes increased customer expectation. Speed and efficiency are demanded, and having up-to-date kit helps your business meet and beat expectations. Conversely, sluggish IT can make your business appear sluggish.

Consultancy does not = expense

We’re not saying that IT isn’t a business expense – of course it is, but using IT consultancy does not necessarily equate to additional expense, in fact it can save you money.

  • Keeping a keen eye on warranty dates ensures IT kit is always maintained. Kit that’s fallen out of warranty could prove costly to repair
  • IT Security will be up to date, greatly reducing the risk of an expensive cyberattack
  • Planning for staff changes and work patterns ensures that the right kit is updated
  • Emergency purchases can prove unnecessarily costly, especially if availability is low

As the old wives’ tale goes, ‘a stitch in time saves 9’, and we want you to have a business that functions seamlessly. Continuing with the sayings, look after your IT, and your IT will look after you (and we’ll be there to support you all the way).
