It’s been three years since Net Primates joined forces with Ecologi, and our environmental journey continues to flourish. We remain committed to being a Climate Positive Workforce, actively supporting initiatives that benefit the planet. 

What have we achieved so far?

Through our ongoing partnership with Ecologi, we’ve helped fund global climate projects and supported impactful environmental work. To date, our contributions have resulted in: 

  • 3,061 trees planted 
  • 221.03 tonnes of CO2e avoided, equivalent to  
    • 170 long-haul flights 
    • 663m2 of sea ice saved 
    • 548,375 miles driven in a car 
  • Support for climate projects, including: 
    • Generating renewable solar electricity in Egypt 
    • Peatland restoration and conservation in Indonesia 
    • Preserving Amazonian rainforest in Brazil 

What is Ecologi all about?

Ecologi, founded in Bristol in 2018, is a mission-driven social enterprise empowering individuals and organisations to take climate action. They make it easy for businesses to have a real impact through reforestation, renewable energy, and carbon reduction projects.

Understanding Carbon Footprints

Everyone’s carbon footprint is different, influenced by geography and lifestyle. In the Global North, our emissions tend to be significantly higher than what’s sustainable. 

While the concept of the individual carbon footprint is debated, especially given the disproportionate impact of large corporations, it remains a helpful tool. Ecologi uses this concept to encourage individual and small business action as part of a larger movement. 

What does it mean to be a Climate Positive Workforce?

For Net Primates, it means: 

  • We’ve set clear sustainability goals. 
  • We offset more carbon than our team produces. 
  • Every month, trees are planted in our name, and we fund global carbon reduction projects.
