What is Cyber Essentials? 

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government backed scheme launched back in 2014 to help fight cybercrime. Overseen by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials encourages organisations to adopt good practices around cyber security. 

We’ve mentioned it from time to time, but it’s always worth a reminder. Cybercrime is constantly evolving, as is the CE programme, so we’d recommend you seriously consider becoming certified if you’re not already. And you may want to take things to the next level by acquiring Cyber Essential Plus accreditation, such as that held by Net Primates, in order to help build your layers of essential cybersecurity.
